Welcome to Hoops for Hope, an annual outdoor 3 on 3 basketball tournament to help support single moms in Pitt County.   With 12 different divisions we have a spot for all our basketball enthusiasts no matter what your age is, your height or your skill level. So grab three of your closest friends and a good pair of sneakers and join us for this one day community event.

      Event will include the tournament, contests, prizes, giveaways and raffle and food trucks! So don’t miss out, join us Saturday, August 3rd in the parking lots of the Pitt Community College campus. Registration is open from now until July 10th.       The Nehemiah Initiative is a Pitt County based non-profit with a mission to “Empower, Transform, and Restore Families to Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, and Physical Wholeness”.  Our Vision is to “rebuild the families of our community as if they are our own”.  Specifically we seek to wrap around single moms, enabling them to get on their feet; empower their children to grow into their fullest potential, and develop authentic men while combating fatherlessness in our community.
